About the Event
Managing Mixed Generations Training Programme
The workforce is more age diverse than ever. There are currently 5 generations in the workplace. All of whom bring different mindsets and expectations to their roles. This is due to many things such as retirement ages being pushed back because people are living longer and financial pressures mean they need to work into later life. There’s also more school leavers and graduates entering organisations and wanting to climb the career ladder as quickly as they possibly can.
This diversity brings with it challenges for all leaders, new or experienced. There are lots of myths around each of the generations, but it is fair to say they want and need different things from their leaders and employers.
This one-day course will provide awareness of the different generations and help delegates to lead and manage a multi generation team with confidence.
By the end of the programme delegates will:
- Have an overview of each generation and their different priorities
- Know what creates generational conflicts and how to minimise them
- Know to close the generational gap and get the best out of their teams
- Be confident in leading those that are more experienced
- Be able to manage engagement levels with their teams
